
Christiaan Oberman specialises not only in employment law, but also in civil-servants law. He advises e.g. public and semi-public institutions, and national and international companies, including various listed companies. He assists management and HR departments in reorganisations. He advises at a strategic, tactical and operational level, as well as assisting directors and managers. Christiaan has been a lawyer since 1989 and has been a partner at Palthe Oberman since its incorporation. He studied at Amsterdam University and at the University of Maryland (USA) and completed the PALA (Postgraduate Employment Law Course) in 2002. He is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN) and the Employment Lawyers Association for Amsterdam and Environs. Christiaan teaches employment law to trainees as part of their professional education and gives courses and lectures in that field. He regularly publishes on employment law subjects. Christiaan has furthermore been involved in the activities of War Child since its incorporation.
On Thursday 14 March 2013, Christiaan Oberman will be teaching the law course New Developments in employment law.
